Find a prominent indoor wall that can be tiled

Four Easy Steps!

Choose a wall in a very visible location, where you can highlight the photo tiles contributed by your donors. Prime tile-wall locations are in the entryway of your building, or in a well-traveled hallway.

The most profitable tile size is 4.25" x 4.25". This tile size is large enough to showcase a photo, and it allows you to make maximum use of your wall space. A wall that is 5-feet high by 10-feet wide will accommodate 392 tiles.

Make creative use of your walls

Your tile wall can be built above paneling, above or below built-in cabinetry, or on the face of an auditorium stage. Build your wall where it will be most visible. Start the wall a foot or two off the floor, and limit its height to about four to five feet tall.
